Nancy Jean Sherburne

Nancy Sherburne passed away with family by her side on December 20, 2021, at the age of 85. She was born on October 9, 1936, to Richard and Anna (Verploegh) Bingham. Visit with family and friends on Thursday, December 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the McCowen & Secord Funeral Home, Plainwell Chapel; 120 S. Woodhams Street. A memorial Service will follow at 11:00. Nancy is survived by her three children: Kathy (Randy) Crytzer, Sharon (James) Newhouse and Wendy (Robert) English; her grandchildren: Kellay Ridderman, Jon Ridderman, Travis (Jessica) Arbelius, Danielle (Matthew) Levandowski, Shaina McNees, Scott DenHarder, Garrett English and Ethan English; Eight great grandchildren; her brother Richard Bingham; her sister Sue Kissinger as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, Thomas Sherburne; her daughter Betty Ridderman and son Randy Arbelius. Nancy always had a smile for everyone she met. She always dressed nice with her hair and nails done. She enjoyed playing cards at her monthly card club and she loved going to the Casino. From this, her nicknames were Fancy Nancy and Nancy Jean the spending machine. Nancy loved her family and friends. She enjoyed keeping up with them and spending time with them.
