Patrecia Rose Ellinger, 73, of Portage passed away on March 20th, 2020. Patrecia was born on August 21, 1946, to Bill and Julia McCrorey in Kalamazoo, Michigan; the only daughter of four children. Growing up she attended St. Augustine Catholic High School in Kalamazoo. Soon after she married and had five children. Being married to a military man, Pat made a home for her family all across the Unites States in places like Key West Florida, Portsmouth and Norfolk Virginia, Long Beach and San Diego California and Mount Clemens Michigan before settling in the Kalamazoo/Portage area. It was in 1992 in Michigan where Pat met her soul mate in Jim Ellinger. Pat and Jim were married September 21, 2000 and were inseparable for nearly 30 years. She will be remembered for her generous heart and outspoken personality. She was always there for her family and friends supporting them emotionally and physically in times of joy or hardship. Pat will be dearly missed by: husband; Jim Ellinger; sons; John (Kelly) Donlin, Brett (Veronica) Ellinger, Brad Ellinger, daughters; Julie (Kathy) Young, Cindy Crawford, grand children; Shane Willette, Andrew Donlin, Connor Donlin, Tony Marquez, Joshua Cochran, Izabella Young, Timmy Young, Lacey Crawford, Cody Crawford, brothers; Phil McCrorey; Raymond (Margret) McCrorey; Terry Ellinger: Rodger (Judy) Ellinger along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding Pat in death are: her parents; Bill and Julia McCrorey, sons; Patrick Donlin, Michael Donlin, Joseph Donlin and brother; David McCrorey. Plans for a celebration of life gathering to be determined at a later date.
