Tony Blodgett

Anthony "Tony" Lester Blodgett, age 59, of Kalamazoo, MI, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. He was born on October 17, 1966, in Kalamazoo, the son of Andrew and Joyce (Ryskamp) Blodgett.

On January 16, 1996, Tony married the love of his life, Kristy Brown, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they built a beautiful life and raised two wonderful children, Taylor and Max. Tony was a devoted husband and father who cherished every moment spent with his family.

For the past ten years, Tony and his family celebrated Christmas in Aruba-his favorite place in the world. The memories made there were among his happiest, filled with laughter, sunshine, and peace.

Professionally, Tony owned and operated a SERVPRO franchise for fifteen years. He found deep fulfillment in his work, taking pride in helping others through challenging times. Whether after a storm, flood, or home accident, Tony's care and compassion shone through in every interaction.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Blodgett and Joyce Blodgett, and his brother, Andy Blodgett.

He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-nine years, Kristy; his children, Taylor (Cody) Mikel and Max Blodgett; his granddaughter, Rhonda Mikel; siblings, Terry (Cindy) Blodgett, Robin (Avery) Delaney, Kevin Blodgett, and Pamela Blodgett; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

In accordance with Tony's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future. All are welcome to attend and join the family in celebration of Tony's life.
