Babriano Jimenez

Babriano Jimenez of Orangeville, MI was called home by his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 6, 2022, at the age of 76. He was born in Orangeville, MI on January 15, 1946, the son of Baleriano and Rosaria (Frausto) Jimenez.

He graduated from Martin High School in 1966, following graduation he honorably served his country by joining the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict, until he was honorably discharged in 1970. While at home on leave he met the love of his life: Evangelina Puente, while he was away their love grew and following his discharge from the Air Force the two were united in holy matrimony on May 1, 1971. Together they welcomed two precious children: Demetrio and Cristal. 

Babriano worked for the State of Michigan: Michigan Career and Technical Institute for twenty-seven years and retired at the age of fifty-one. In his retirement he enjoyed traveling in his motorhome with family, going to sporting events for family members, and going for long drives with his wife.

He will be fondly remembered for his outgoing personality, his kindness and generosity, and his ability to easily make friends wherever he went. 

He is preceded in his passing by his wife of forty-six years: Evangelina Jimenez; his parents; and siblings: Julian, Roberto, Luis, Petra, and Julia.

Left to cherish his loving memory are his children: Demetrio (Sandra) Jimenez and Cristal (Richard) Doll; grandchildren: Cesar, Emilio, Landen, and Evangelina; siblings: Joe and Delores; and many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Babriano’s wishes public services will be held at The Fountain of Truth Apostolic Tabernacle, 6116 Marsh Road, Shelbyville, MI 49344, on Friday, June 10, 2022, with a time for visiting beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Babriano will be laid to rest with his wife at Oak Hill Cemetery of Orangeville, MI following the service.
