Barb was a remarkable aunt and a most fun and loving babysitter when I was young. She modeled strength of character, the kindness of humanity and the courage of individuality. Barb was a straight shooter with an intelligent wit that often let you know she was listening and saw behind outward appearances. I viewed her as always standing on the side of rightness with a deep desire to share goodness. She displayed fierce integrity. The best role model any child or adult could have. She and I had a very special bond and I loved her dearly. When I returned to Michigan, we were able to have many heart-to-heart talks about past times, present times, and creating good times. I was so fortunate to have had her in my life. A wonderful person who radiated warmth to those in the space around her. I will miss her. Meg Otto

She lived behind us for around 15 years and we barely knew her, but she always greeted us warmly on our trick or treat rounds each fall. Condolences to the familyLisa Johnson
