Beth Ellen Bowling

Beth Ellen Edmonds was born on March 26th 1959 in Kalamazoo, MI to Clyde and Shirley Edmonds. She passed away Friday May 6th, 2022 at the age of 63 with her family by her side.

Beth attended school at Loy Norrix High School class of '77.  She immediately began her life married to the love of her life Michael Bowling on April 16th, 1977. Her favorite story was how they met at the Walgreens at the Kalamazoo Mall, and it was love at first sight. They started their family in 1979 and enjoyed a life full of travel around the country together. One of the most memorable highlights of her life was getting to travel route 66 twice. Once with her parents as a child and again with her husband to make new lasting memories. Throughout her life she was a proud member of Kalamazoo Right To Life, loving pastor's wife and member of the Praise Baptist Church where she was active in children's and women's ministries, as well as singing and even playing the drums. She was a Co-Founder of Alpha and Omega Ministries, once a member of the presidents club with Avon, Co-Founder of GodSpeed Transportation, and member of the Soha Rock Hounds.

Beth enjoyed spending time with her family and 10 grand children, as well as her many fur children. Beth could never turn away a homeless cat or wounded animal. She was often seen feeding and talking to squirrels, Prarie dogs, birds and other wildlife.

She was extremely artistic and had beautiful painting and writing skills. You can find many of her creations anywhere you may roam, as she has placed many rocks that have traveled all around the world. They have been found as far as Germany and Australia.

Beth is survived by her husband: Michael Bowling Sr, 3 children: Aimee Freeman (Alan) of Louisville KY, Michael Bowling II (Jessica) of Middleville MI, and April Bowman (Tyler) of Plainwell MI, 11 grandchildren: Jaron and Ethan Rhea of Louisville KY, Michael, Kierah, Olivia, Ariya and another granddaughter on the way of Middleville MI, Seth, Alexis, Brynnlee and Liam Bowman of Plainwell, a sister in law Delana Smith (Jeff), brother in law Jeff Bowling (Diane), nephews: William Coleman (Jasmine), Nicholas Coleman, James Harrell, nieces: Jessica Splinter (Tom), Rebecca, Bethany, Ashley, Kristen Bowling, Lisa Pringle and 2 'adopted' grands: Paul Bertrou of France and Ella Richter of Germany, along with a host of other nieces and nephews.
