Betty's journey in life was marked by numerous achievements and cherished moments. She graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1949 and embarked on an exciting adventure when she married Edwin Shearer on January 6, 1951.

Betty's memory will forever live on through her cherished grandchildren: Michelle DeMattei, Andrea (Doug) Prudden, Cole (Stephanie) Fisher, and Paul (Kortni) Fisher. She was also a proud great-grandmother to eight adoring great-grandchildren.
