Carolyn Sue Miller (Sue Miller), of Vicksburg passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at the age of 88. Sue was born on June 13, 1938 in Kalamazoo, MI. She was the daughter of Reva Williams. As a child she lived in Hollywood, CA, as well as Fulton and Kalamazoo. She graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School.

On May 15, 1959, she married her husband of 63 years, Lloyd Miller. Together they had four children: Lloyd Jr, Doug, Tim and Jennifer.

Sue’s life was centered around her family. She took great joy in being a mother and grandmother. In her later years Lloyd and Sue enjoyed annual mushrooming trips, and sleuthing their family genealogies. As a grandmother she loved their family’s annual camping trips, bringing together her children and grandchildren from across the country. Sue attended the Factoryville Bible Church in Athens.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd. She is survived by her four children: Lloyd (Marsha) Miller Jr, of Schoolcraft; Doug (JoAnn) Miller, of MD; Tim Miller, of Ann Arbor; Jennifer (Chris) Gray, of Schoolcraft; nine grandchildren: Morgan Miller, Dr. Derrick (Samantha Forcum) Miller, Owen Miller, Kiaha Gray, Aiden Gray, Sarah Miller, Sam Miller, Koertney Miller, and Abby Miller. She is also survived by her brother: Gary Marcy of IL.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 12 pm at Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11am. A burial will be held at North Fulton Cemetery following the funeral. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held after the burial (1:30 – 3:30 pm) at the Main Street Pub, 208 E. Prairie St, Vicksburg.
