Cathoriene Lou Cummins

Cathoriene Lou Cummins went to be with the lord on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. She was born on July 21, 1931 in St Johns, Michigan. Daughter of Harold and Audrey (Argersinger) Getz. She was a life-long seamstress. On June 9, 1951, Rene was united in marriage to Gilbert Cummins. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving are two children, Mark (Dawn) Cummins of Lawton and Cathy Munther of Kalamazoo; four grandchildren; Halley Cummins of Mattawan, Annette Cummins of Vicksburg, Audrey Munther of Kalamazoo, and Ryan Munther of Kalamazoo; 1 great-granddaughter; Ava Bachmann of Mattawan; two sisters; Juanita (Dale) Steeby of Kalamazoo, and June Greenwood of Portage. Proceeding her in death is her loving husband, Gilbert; her parents; her brothers Glenn Getz and Paul Getz; and her sister, Joyce Cheatham. A service will be held on August 26, 2023 at 11:00 am at Milwood Methodist Church, 3919 Portage Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49001 with ice cream to follow.
