Christopher Michael Swager

Christopher Michael Swager formerly of Summersville, WV went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the age of 41. He was born in Fort Belvoir, VA on July 14, 1981, to parents James and Sheila (Hughes) Swager. 

He was preceded in death by Maternal grandparents, Kenneth Patrick Hughes and Ardys Elaine Hughes, Paternal grandparents Eithel Murray Swager and Marilyn Ruth (Susie) Swager,  Aunt, Jennifer Louise Harris, and Uncle Thomas  Wimmer.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, James and Sheila Hughes Swager, Brother Jason (Brandi) Swager, Nephew Walker Swager and Niece Ragean Swager.  Aunts; Linda (Bob) Burke, Lee (Louis) DePaolis, Debbie Wimmer, ParLena Johnson. Cousins, Pamela, Robert, Jessica, Tommy, Patti, Patrick, Michelle, Nicholas, Katelyn, Andrea Johnson, Dominic and Tammy . Stepsiblings Claude, Claude Jr. Sherry, Donna Jo.  Also Chris leaves his best friend Matthew (Danja) Schrader.

Memorial Services will be planned in Northern Virginia and West Virginia in August 2023.  The family appreciates the kind expressions of sympathy in the loss of our son.
