Corrine Adele Smith

SMITH, Corrine A. Kalamazoo Passed away March 3, 2010 Corrine was born Nov. 30, 1927 in Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of John and Veronica (Zaffle) Cronland. She owned and operated Corrine's Catering and Evergreen Hall in Portage for over 30 years. Surviving is a son; Donald (Robin) Smith of Vicksburg, 4 daughters; Donna (Stan) Tarkowski of Mattawan, Suzanne (Bob) Morrison of LaPorte, TX, Sandra (Bill) Grosser of Portage and Patricia (Mark) Chandler of Galesburg, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Corrine was preceded in death by her husband Donald Smith, 2 brothers and sister in law; John and Arlene Cronland and Colin Cronland, 2 grandsons; Alan Chandler and Robert Anthony Morrison. At her request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at Mt. Ever Rest Cemetery at a later date.
