After retirement, he enjoyed fishing and boating, playing with his dogs, and winters at his home in Englewood, Fla. On October 23, 1971, he married Mary Ann Nay, who survives. Also surviving are daughters Teresa Marie (Greg) Newell and Kristina Michelle (David) Leitz; grandson Olan Leitz; brother Joseph Rounds; sister Alma Stone; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters John Rounds, Barbara Frye, Robert Rounds, Marion Cochran, and infant sister Ruth. Met and worked with Dale in the Upjohn Pipe Shop. Fast forward to retirement, ran into Dale walking the beach on Anna Maria Island and we laughed and reminisced about the times at work. It was 80 degrees and we talked about skiing back home in Michigan..... My condolences to Dales family. Mike Winchester

Mary, I'm thinking of you with sadness at Dale's passing. He was always friendly and fun when I met him. I remember him at a TGI Friday afternoon at a bar telling about calling a number for a free hearing test by phone, then giving the phone to your daughter and neither of them could hear a thing! (Vindication for him, since he was, indeed hard of hearing, and didn't want to admit it!) It was just so funny the way they both described it, and I remember laughing about it to myself many times! I'm still around town, and I'd love to get together with you when the Covid situation is finally past. -Tina Menta
