Dale Eugene Schneider, 69, of Plainwell, Michigan passed away peacefully June 29, 2026 in his home surrounded by family. Dale was born August 31, 1956 in Allegan, Michigan to Frank and Elizabeth (Stuck) Schneider.

Dale grew up in Allegan and once he came of age he enlisted into the Navy in February 1974 and worked as a Diesel Mechanic until he was honorably discharged in 1977.

He met a wonderful girl at a party one night, then the next day at school they met again at lunchtime. This sparked a loving relationship, and he soon married Loretta Goodrich on July 1, 1978.

Not long after they welcomed two daughters into their lives, Karinda Kay and Sarah Buchino.

Dale had many hobbies to fill his time, such as snowplowing, snowmobiling, fixing things, building, and camping.

His family knows him as helpful, funny, friendly, and loving. His grandchildren were everything to him, he loved them with everything he had.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents and many special friends and family.

Surviving Dale is his wife, Loretta Schneider; his daughters, Karinda Kay and Sarah Buchino; grandchildren, Jared and Cameron Kay and Breonnah, Catalina, and Damein Buchino; special niece and caregiver, Angie Goodrich; and many brothers and sisters.
