Daryl Jay Irving

Daryl Jay Irving, age 64, of Fulton, Michigan, passed away on May 1, 2026. He was born on February 21, 1962, in Vicksburg, Michigan, the son of Vernon and Maxine (Spealman) Irving.

Daryl graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1980. Shortly after, he began his career with Kalamazoo Valley Community College, where he started as a custodian and, through hard work and dedication, advanced to the role of Facility Site Manager.

Daryl had a deep love for nature and animals and especially enjoyed spending time fishing. One of his favorite places was Grand Marais, Michigan, where he cherished time at the family cabin. Known for his friendly and outgoing nature, Daryl could strike up a conversation with anyone. He had a fun-loving and adventurous spirit, enjoyed cooking, and, following his retirement, worked at a local deli where he continued to connect with those around him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Irving.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Maxine Irving; his siblings, Paula (David) Armstrong, Fran (Mike) VanBruggen, and Victor Irving; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Daryl will be remembered for his warm personality, his love of the outdoors, and the genuine connections he made with everyone he met.
