David Dean Boyce

Died March 21, 2018 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born April 7, 1935 at Douglas, Michigan, was the adopted son of Russell and May (Glaze) Boyce, and was baptized as a Methodist. He was a graduate of Allegan High School and Michigan State University, and he held a C.P.C.U. professional designation in property and casualty insurance. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean era, attaining the rank of Sergeant. Dean married Marilyn Ann Colvin on June 22, 1957. He was a Life Member of V.F.W. Post 5315, a member of American Legion Post 89, Allegan County Historical Society and F.O.E. 2315. Survivors are his wife of 60 ½ years, Marilyn (Colvin), daughter Jennifer Boyce of Mt. Pleasant and son Eric (Mary) Boyce of North Muskegon.
