David Leroy Bronson

David LeRoy Bronson passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, November 27, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. He lived an eventful life. He was born in Allegan in 1953 to Ruth and Stewart Bronson. They lived for most of his childhood in California before moving back to Michigan and graduating from Allegan High School. He worked over 20 years at James River in Parchment and then did various jobs following that. He loved to work with his hands and could often be found tinkering in his garage. Most days you could find David enjoying music or singing karaoke with friends. He loved to make others laugh and corny jokes were expected. He loved to watch his grandchildren play sports and was always their biggest fan. David was very close with family and never missed a birthday party or gathering.

David is preceded in death by his parents Ruth Foss & Stewart Bronson and his sister Shirley Denney. He is survived by his brothers Ed and Steve Bronson and his sister Deb Anderson.

He is also survived by his children: Angela (Rodger) Peebles, Chad (Maggie) Bronson, and Sherria (Kyle) VanSparrentak; his cherished grandchildren: Miranda, Kaylee, Colton, Maddy, Brenden, Brooklyn, and Michael and his one great grandchild, Avery. David lived his last 12 years with special friend Audrey Taylor.

David will be missed my many and always remembered for the vibrant and warm man that he was. Please join us in celebrating his life this Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Allegan Fraternal Order of Eagles (110 Chestnut St. Allegan, MI 49010) at 11:00am followed by a luncheon.
