David Lee LaFountain

David Lee LaFountain went to be with the lord on September 15th, 2023 at the age of 56. He passed peacefully at his home in Gobles where he resided with his children and grandchildren. David was born on September 13, 1967 to Patsy & Donald LaFountain. David spent the majority of his life in Otsego, MI where he attended school. Over the years he could tell you the very best hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting spots around, although he wouldn't because "you'd be in his spot the next time" was what he would always say! When David wasn't chasing that trophy, you could usually find him in the paint booth where he worked alongside his father at LaFountain's Autobody. David was proceeded in death by his father Donald LaFountain on December 21st, 2005. He is survived by his mother Patsy LaFountain, sister Diane Getty's, son Derek LaFountain, daughter in law Amber Richardson, grandchildren Jaxson, Malakhi, Kacey and Felix LaFountain and many nephews, nieces & cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 1, from 2-4 at the Moose Lodge in Otsego.

The family is being cared for by Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home, Plainwell.
