David Loy Marker

MARKER, David Loy Portage Passed away April 24, 2010. David was born Sept. 5, 1933 in Kalamazoo the son of Beryl and Grace (Talbot) Marker. He worked for AT&T, Western Electric for 36 years and retired to Florida. Spent several years in Real Estate and came back to Michigan in 1994. Worked as Advocate with Probate Court and worked for Meals on Wheels. He made stained glass figurines for patients at SW Michigan Hospice. Surviving is his wife Beverly, 2 sons David W. Marker and Tim Marker, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 stepchildren and 8 step grandchildren, a sister Pat (Orville) Cobb and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Gloria Marker and a brother Wayne Marker. At his request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Meals on Wheels, Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.
