Dennis L. Kelley

Dennis Lynn Kelley, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2023. Dennis was born to Marjorie and Kenneth Kelley and grew up alongside his brother Jerry Kelley, all of whom he is now peacefully reunited with.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Beverly Kelley. Together, he and his “Boo” built a life filled with love and laughter. He was happy to chauffer Bev to any thrift stores or garage sales despite the amount of “treasures” she brought home.

Dennis is also survived by his sister Brenda (John) Carlson, his children Kevin (Diane) Kelley and Pam (Ron) Carl, and his step-children Mary (David) DeBoer, Ken (Leah) Walton, and Jeff Walton.

His will be remembered by his grandchildren: Jordon (Megan) Kelley, Cassondra (Kevin) Cupp, Haleigh Kelley, Brandin Kelley, Lindsey DeBoer, Nicholas Sutherby-Walton, Evie Walton, and his four great-grandchildren.

Dennis was a loyal employee of Simpson Paper Company in Vicksburg, MI for 30 years. He also dedicated 10 years to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Dennis had a kind spirit and enjoyed feeding the squirrels on the back porch, working on puzzles and cheering on his favorite hockey and football teams. May Dennis rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of those who went before him and the memories he leaves behind.

Memorial service will be held on a future date.
