Donald R Little

Donald R. Little, of Portage, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the age of 81. Don was born on July 12, 1939 in Kalamazoo. He was the son of Edward and Helen (Burchards) Little. Don served his country proudly in the Navy. Don retired from General Motors as a foreman. Don loved to fish and camp with his sons, grandsons and his special fishing buddy, Terry Henschel (whom he thought of as a son). He loved riding his lawnmower, vegetable gardening with his wife and summer traveling with his wife, especially to Maine where he met and married Beverly. He liked doing crossword puzzles, watching the History and Discovery channels and loved spending time with all of his grandchildren. Don is survived by his children, Thomas (Jacqueline) Little, Deborah White, Angela Holland, Brian (Guadalupe) Little, Michelle Rolan, and Alyssa Little; grandchildren, Stephanie Little, Derek Little, Samantha White, Stephanie White, Alexis Holland, Blake Holland, CJ Rolan, Brianna (Henry) Bates, and Brooke Holland; great grandchildren, Paige, Gage, Jaelen, Brandon, Jaeden, Corey, Angel, Zenzia, Zoe, Bryson, Isabella, Brantley and Amelia; and sister, Judith Hawes. Don is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Ann (Mann) Little; son, Donald Richard Little Jr., parents, Edward and Helen Little; grandson, Jason; and siblings Edward, Gary, Carl and Linda. A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 1pm at Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park South with full military honors. Mt.
