Dorothy Kendall

Dorothy Mary Kendall, 94, died unexpectedly June 21, 2025, at Corewell Hospital in Greenville, Michigan. She was born August 23, 1930, in Warrington, England, the daughter of John Reginald and Priscilla Haslam.

Dorothy married Nelson F Myers, Sr., in Warrington April 16, 1949. She arrived in the United States 1949 and was a citizen November 7, 1961.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Nelson. They have four children Priscilla Dorothy Meyers, Sherry Moulton, Nelson F Myers, Jr., and John R Myers. She has many grand and great grandchildren. Dorothy married Fred Kendall of Richland, Michigan December 24, 1980.

She was skilled at many arts. She enjoyed painting, gardening, sailing, traveling, and rock hounding. A lifelong member of the VFW in Augusta.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. at grave site internment Saturday August 2, 2025, at Yorkville Cemetery Ross Township near Gull Lake. A reception for those who wish to join the family will be held at VFW Augusta 7956, 13549 W M-96, Augusta, Michigan at 12:00 noon.
