KLINE, Dorothy M. Kalamazoo VICTORY FOR DOROTHY! Dorothy Mae Kline went home to be with the Lord, and her husband, Glen Alfred Kline, who preceded her in death on February 26, 1989. Dorothy was born on July 8, 1914 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Carl Middleton and Myrtle (Gildea) Middleton Motter. She married Glen on October 21, 1933 in Mattawan, Michigan. She and Glen lived in the Kalamazoo area until 1956 when they moved to their farm in Schoolcraft. They had celebrated 56 years of wedded bliss before God took Glen home. Together they were blessed with five children, Glenadine (Deane) Hodgson, Kenneth (Madelyn) Kline, Patricia (Edwin) Loveland, Sandra (John) Conroy, and Vicki (Troy) Matunas. 26 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren. Dorothy leaves behind her children, her only sister, Marian Harrison, whom she loved deeply, and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was active in the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church for many years. She retired from Schoolcraft Schools. Crocheting was her hobby and passion along with many arts and crafts. The many gifts that were given through her love will always be treasured. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church on Thursday, June 17, where the funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 18, 2010.
