Elsie was the first person I met on my first day as a federal employee at the Federal Center of Battle Creek. She processed me in and gave me my oath of office. She made such a favorable impression on me that, although I never worked with her during my 36+ years that followed, I always remember her fondly. She was a beautiful person. My sympathies to her family on your loss.

Elsie and I had so much fun together while we both lived on Byrd Dr. in Portage, and in school. It has been quite a few years since we last saw each other but I thought about her often. Else was a wonderful lady.
