Elva was always prepared at the meetings to give a encouraging deep thoughtout comment. I remember years ago when Betty Brown lived with Elva and someone broke a window when Elva was gone and just Betty was home. Duane went over and fix the window. Elva was not going to just let that go as an act of kindness. She had us over for dinner which was always so entertaining with all of Elva experiences and stories. Also I remember washing pots and pans with Elva at a Kingdom Hall build. Truly a privilege working by her side. Jannet Muizelaar
