Emma Elizabeth Underwood

Emma Elizabeth (Whitmyer) age 89 of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025 at 9:09 a.m surrounded by a few of her loving family members. Born on May 22, 1936, in Vandalia, Michigan. Emma was the beloved daughter of Emma Vickers and Melvin Whitmyer.

Emma greatest joy was having her daughter Sandy, her "rock" always with her by her side for countless days for so many years, day after day caring for her Emma, visiting, assisting, transporting, and comforting her until Emma's last breath. Along side of Sandy was Randy. Emma's spouse Randy Allen, of 19 years, he never let her lonely, doing all he could for her even with his health not being 100%. Randy loved Emma with all his heart.

Emma was a devoted mother leaving behind a legacy of love with her six children: Robert McClain, Ralph McClain, Cindy McClain, Kathy Bainbridge, Sandra Wilkins, and Jeffery McClain all of Marcellus, MI.

A women of deep faith, quiet strength, and heart rooted in kindness. She enjoyed life's simple pleasures- spending time with her family, cooking, crafting, dancing, and sharing countless cherished moments with her many grand and great- grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Fairview Living Center for the compassionate care and support during Emma's time there.
