Fran was one of my favorite neighbors. The neighborhood had a morning coffee group for moms. She & I would go together, sometimes dressing in costume and it was always fun. She had a unique ability to think of the positive side of things. She was very generous and always thought about others and how she might make someone's day better. I really loved Fran!

Sad to read of Fran's passing. What a wonderful lady. As a Eastside neighbor and school friend of the boys, I remember Fran always laughing and smiling that beautiful welcoming smile. Such a special angel Heaven has received. My condolences to Tim and the family.

Our family became friends with Fran during our mothers stay at The Springs. Fran and Dolly were roommates for a short period of time, but became quick friends and remained in touch ever since. She was so fun, we loved visiting the two of them. We remember Fran as a friendly caring person that looked out for other people. We still enjoy the cook "Food Ideas From Fran" that she gave us a s a gift. Fran was a blessing to us all,

I remember Fran from the Kalamazoo Gazette. She was one special lady with her smile and laugh. Then after her retirement, I'd see her in Meijer store and we would stand and talk. So very sorry for your loss, but she had a long and enjoyable life. Judy Lane Hale Johnson.
