Gail Beverly Carlson was born in Toronto, Canada August 25, 1942. She was the daughter of the late William A. and Gladys M. (Switzer) Osborn. She resided in Saginaw, MI for many years prior to moving to St. Petersburg, Florida where she resided the remainder of her life.
Gail was a unique individual. She was fashionable, sophisticated, smart, and quick-witted. She had incredible talent, especially in gardening and loved everything to do with flowers and plants. Her artistic flair was unmatched! She mastered the most amazing art projects and won several awards over time for her creativity. She was a member of The Garden Club of St. Petersburg, Florida since 1998. Throughout the years, she devoted a lot of her time and was an integral member by serving as the internet liaison, webmaster, president of the yearbook committee and chairperson for the Japanese Garden Club. She was also the Green Thumb Festival, president & vice president within the flower arranging circle.
She also had love for antiques and acquired quite a collection. Her home was one of a kind and was draped with all the amazing treasures she collected!
Gail has always had a love for dogs. She enjoyed her companionship with her Jack Russell Terriers: Murphy, Addy and Razz-matazz, along with love for her birds.
Gail is survived by her children Deborah (Scott) Milstead, Patricia (Dan) Clark, Jenniffer (Steve) McCowen and Danny Whitting. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Siblings; Cheryl (late husband Axel) Reed, Anne (Frank) MacFadyen, William Osborn, Laura (Ed) Woltil and David Osborn. Gail was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberlie A. Leonard. She had many friends and will truly be missed.
Gail has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
