Geneva Lee Troxell (Robb), age 72, of Marcellus, MI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Centrica Rose Arbor Place in Kalamazoo, MI. Born in La Porte, Indiana, on September 25, 1952, to her loving mother, Bonnie Robb, Geneva's life was marked by her strong work ethic, devotion to her family, and a warm, welcoming spirit that endeared her to many.

Geneva experienced life in various corners of the United States, embracing each new place with resilience and an open heart. Her diverse employment history reflected her willingness to take on challenges and provide for her family. From serving customers as a waitress to ensuring quality as a factory worker and later navigating the open road as a truck driver, Geneva approached every job with dedication. However, it was her role as a homemaker that truly defined her, creating a nurturing and loving environment for her family.

On December 02, 1977, Geneva married Richard Earl Troxell, and together they built a life filled with love and companionship. Richard passed away before her. After initially settling in Kalamazoo, MI, they later made their home in Marcellus following the passing of Richard’s mother. Geneva found joy in simple pleasures, such as the rhythmic art of crocheting, the peaceful solitude of fishing, and, most of all, the cherished moments spent with friends and family. Her home was always open, and she had a knack for making everyone feel welcome and loved.

Geneva is survived by her children: Trisha Belanger, Timothy Carver, Richard Troxell, and Christine Poindexter. She was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Carver, her brother, Freddie, and her beloved husband, Richard Earl Troxell. Geneva was a proud and adoring grandmother to Tara, Heaven, Cheyenne, Shelby, Kimberly, Jordan, Sean, and Donavan, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Geneva will be remembered for her kind heart, her unwavering love for her family, and her ability to find joy in the everyday moments of life. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Geneva has been cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Centrica Care Navigators Hospice. Memorial contribution envelopes can be picked up at the funeral home.
