Listen to Obituary

Gregory Lyle Miller, age 77, passed away on July 2, 2026, at Bronson Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Sturgis, Michigan, the son of Robert and Doris Miller.

A member of the Sturgis High School Class of 1967, Greg was known in his younger years for his fast cars, quick wit, and great sense of humor. Those who knew him best will remember his ability to make others laugh and his appreciation for the simple joys of life.

In 1987, Greg met his forever best friend, Debra. The two quickly realized they were meant to spend their lives together and were married in November of that same year. Their marriage was built on friendship, love, and countless shared memories.

Throughout his career, Greg held a variety of skilled positions, including work with Coachmen RV and Newport Printing as an offset pressman. He later worked for PSI Printing, where he remained until his retirement in 1990.

Greg was an avid fisherman and a passionate street rod enthusiast who enjoyed spending time around classic cars and fellow hobbyists. He was also proud to be a founding member of Adopt a Friend for Life of Southwest Michigan, reflecting his compassion for animals and his desire to help those in need.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debra Miller of Three Rivers; his sister, Tammy Miller-Wooten of Sturgis; his brother, Kevin Miller of Sturgis; his stepsons, Michael (Karen) Colasanti of Zeeland and John (Nicole) Colasanti of Hudsonville; and his beloved grandchildren, Andrew, Alexis, Layne, Riley, and Reid. He will also be deeply missed by his many friends and by his faithful dog, Mojo.

In keeping with Greg's wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral or memorial service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or to a charity of your choice.

Greg will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of cars and fishing, and the loyalty and friendship he shared with those fortunate enough to know him.
