Harold Duane Lukins

LUKINS, Harold D. Portage Age78 Harold Duane Lukins passed away on August 17, 2010. Harold is survived by his wife Nancy after 58 years of marriage. He was a loving father and leaves his son, Stephen Lukins, Stephen's wife Kim and his two precious Grandsons, Noah and Joseph Lukins, his daughter (Daddy's Girl) Suzan Clipfell and her husband William Clipfell. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Paul and Evelyn Lukins. He lost his mother when he was a boy of 17 and never forgot her; he had her picture in his bedroom always. He leaves his sister Judy Elwell and his Uncle Howard Stull. He was honorably discharged in 1954 as a Corporal in the US Army and fought in the Korean War. He became a bricklayer in 1954 for 15 years, and retired from the Upjohn Co. in 1992 after 23 years of service as a Chemical Operator. He loved to travel and he and Nan visited state parks in all 50 states. Private interment will take place at a later date.
