Passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Harriett was born Aug. 2, 1922 in Lawrence the daughter of Nathan and Lena (Moden) Bass. She married George Conaway in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1969. Surviving are 4 daughters ; Janice (Larry) Bowman, Joyce Hutcheson, Jacqueline (Al) East and Juliann (John) Bergeon, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a niece and nephew. At her request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services.
