Heather K. (Houghton) Driskill, of Vicksburg, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 39. She was born on November 13, 1985, in Kalamazoo. She was the daughter of Jim (Cherie) Houghton and Carol Doolittle. She was a beloved daughter, devoted mother, and cherished friend whose kindness and caring spirit touched the lives of many.

Heather grew up in Vicksburg and graduated with the Class of 2003 from Vicksburg High School. Her early years she participated in little league softball. After high school she loved to work in the caregiving field and helping others. Heather was known for her warm heart and her dedication to caring for others. Her innate ability to make those around her feel loved and valued was one of her strengths.

In her spare time, Heather found joy in various hobbies. She delighted in visiting Silver Lake, a place where she created cherished memories with her loved ones. Most recently, she cultivated her passion for gardening at home. Much like her father, she also could look at a car and tell you the make, model and year of classics.

Heather was married to Joe Driskill whom preceded her in death in 2016. Together they had one daughter named Lily. Heather dedicated herself to being the best mother to her daughter, Lily. She loved Lily immensely and consistently aimed to provide her with the best opportunities.
