Ida M. Madison

Ida M. Madison, 89, of Richland, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2020, at Upjohn Nursing Home in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ida was born on April 15, 1931 to Frank & Laura (Johnson) Phillips. Ida is survived by her children: Laura (Russell) Stockwell, Linda (Randy) Taft, Ken (Char) Madison; her grandchildren: Gwendolyn, Bradley (Ryan), Traci, James, Elizabeth, Amber (Brian), Andrew “Andy” (Shannon) and Benjamin; great grandchildren: Preston, Brendan, Connor, Olivia and Ann-Marie; her brother Jim Phillips; her sister Shirley Westphal as well as several nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Kenneth Oliver; her siblings: Denny, Frank, Bill, Dan, Bev, Lloyd, Dora and Mary. Visit with family and friends on Wednesday, November 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the McCowen & Secord Funeral Home; Marshal Gren Chapel – 120 S. Woodhams St. in Plainwell. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:30 at the same location. Due to COVID-19 concerns, it is recommended that people that attend please wear a mask and observe social distancing, as well as any of the current CDC guidelines imposed on the day of the event.
