James Arthur Kowalski

KOWALSKI, James A. Portage Passed away Jan. 4, 2011. James was born Aug. 7, 1937 in Paw Paw the son of Joseph and Katherine (Gozdecki) Kowalski. He married his High School sweetheart Madelyn Masten on Aug. 14, 1954 56 years ago who survives. Also surviving are 2 children; Christopher (Kathy) Kowalski of Lewisburg, TN and Julie K. (Larry) Phillips of Kalamazoo, 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 sisters and a brother. Preceded in death by 2 brothers. At his request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Portage Post VFW 5855, 8845 Sprinkle Rd. Portage, Mi 49002.
