Janet and I had fun talking about our unforgettable time in the Aleutian Island, Alaska. She was an adventurous, and more than that, a deep, deep soul! I loved her rich sense of humor, and her rich sense of life! May her spirit soar!

There are many great memories I have about me dear friend Janet. She was such a gentle and kind soul. When I first met Janet she was Colenes Janet and over the years as I got to know her she was my dear friend Janet. We were two peas in a pod at the Home Depot. We both loved politics and science and we loved to debate about it. Our coworkers loved to see us discuss the latest news topics. But when we done she would always ask me you finished that degree yet? As she was one of my biggest supporters of my education. Back in September was when I last saw Janet. I went to visit her and Colene. We had the chance to reminisce on all the fun we had. I got the chance to sit out the yard with them, play with the bowls and listen and enjoy nature. It was so peaceful. I knew that although she was in pain she was happy. Although I will truly miss my friend, I know she no longer suffering and for that Im grateful. I will never forget her kind spirit and how she always treated me with nothing but respect. To Janets family, I send my sincere condolences and prayers :two_hearts:

When I think of Janet its usually about things that happened on the farm in Indiana. Wearing her grandfathers bib overalls. Doing archery with her dad. We had to add another hay bail to their target. So many memoirs . Rest I peace dear niece. Uncle, Ed

Janet Miller was a dear friend. She was unapologetically herself and had a wicked sense of humor. Her life was packed with adventures she was proud and strong and fierce. I am a better person for having known her.let the people you love know exactly how you feel. Life is so short.

I have not had the pleasure of meeting many of my birth family. But Janet was one of the first people I met when I began my journey. Her fire, creativity, and warrior woman energy gave me validation that this was indeed my tribe. She will likely never know what that meeting did for me, but I guess now she does. Fly high Janet!
