Jeffrey Philip Bell

Jeffrey Bell of Schoolcraft, MI passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, at the age of 73. He was born on August 2, 1948, in Kalamazoo, MI to parents, Ramsay and Virginia Bell
He graduated from Schoolcraft High School in 1966 and began his journey towards a career in education. He supported himself through his studies while working at Krum-Hallam Chevrolet. While he was completing his prerequisites at Glenn Oaks Community College, he met the love of his life, Victoria Darr. Jeff and Vicki were united in holy matrimony on February 12, 1972. He ultimately completed his Bachelor’s degree in education at Western Michigan University with the support of his loving wife. He began his teaching career in Schoolcraft working with the junior high students where he taught reading; later transitioning to head of the school’s computer lab and technology department. Concurrently, he partnered with Chandler Garrison to open the Village Cyclery providing quality cycles and maintenance to the greater Kalamazoo area for forty-two years. In 1985, Jeff and Vicki added to their family by welcoming home their son, Ross Bell. In his spare time, Jeff loved cycling, working on his computers, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramsay and Virginia Bell; his brother, James Bell; and his granddaughter, Nora Joyce Bell.
Left to cherish his loving memory is his wife of forty-nine years, Victoria Bell; son and daughter in law, Ross and Nikeata Bell; and grandchildren, Marti Grace and Nolen Jeffrey.
