Jenny Lee Stuut

Jenny Lee Stuut (Russon), 74 years of age, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, July 12th, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born in Kalamazoo, MI and grew up in Comstock Township, where she attended high school. She and her 3 siblings had a modest upbringing, never lacked the necessities, enjoyed a few wants and always knew they were loved. This humble start taught her very early on that the material things mean very little and it's the relationships that count. She was known for her kindness, positivity and humor; always offering her support, a hug and a smile to those around her. Jenny worked several jobs throughout her lifetime but always talked fondly about her time at Gibson Guitar, the Kalamazoo County Building, Beach Products (Contempo Colors) and most recently, retired from Pfizer. She enjoyed shopping, dining out and an occasional trip to the casino. Her primary interest and the driving force of her life was family. She doted on and adored her children, grands and greats. If she knew you were coming, a meal and your favorite beverage would be waiting. She would send you off with a keepsake or trinket, whether you wanted it or not. Jenny was one of a kind and her extraordinary impact on those closest to her will be everlasting.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Betty Russon, siblings: Raymond (Marlene) Russon, Donald Russon, and Elizabeth (Becky) Priest, and nephew:Richard Hough. Surviving are her husband: Michael Stuut, children: Elizabeth Ufkes, Frank Ufkes (Lee Sokolis), Brent (Angela) Ufkes, Chet (Jackie) Stuut, Macy Stuut, grandchildren: Brandon (Stacy) Davidson, Jeffrey II (Sara) Davidson, Jacob (Anna) Ufkes, Brent (Casey) Ufkes, Jessica Ufkes, Morgan VanDewoestyne, Ania, Gracie, Andrzej and J.P. Przybocki, Emily and James Stuut, great grandchildren: Penelope, Ivan, Hayden and Henry Davidson, Elodie, Wren and Alden Ufkes
Jenny will be honored at a private graveside service. Her husband and children welcome family and friends to gather for a celebration of life open house; to be held on Friday, July 28th from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Main Street Pub on Gull Road (back room), 5462 Gull Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49048.
