John Edward Morgan

John Edward Morgan, age 84, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, in the presence of his family in Kalamazoo, MI.

John was preceded in death by his father John Hannon Morgan 1958, mother Nellie Hale Morgan 1980, and brother Nathan Eugene Morgan 1935. He is survived by his children John Leon (Karen) Morgan, Janelle Baker, Joseph (April) Morgan; grandchildren Katelyn (Jacob) Hajski, Hannon Morgan, Taylor Baker and McKayla Morgan.

John was born in Caruthersville, MO and grew up in Kalamazoo County. He attended Western Michigan College and retired from Meade Corporation in 1994. 

John was an avid conservationist, taking part in the Thornapple River clean up where he loved to canoe. He also loved ballroom dancing and roller skating. John made friends wherever he went and will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Gracespring Bible Church 8643 Gull Rd. Richland, MI at 11am.
