Kevin Michael
Boyle
May 16, 1962 – April 14, 2026
Kevin Michael Boyle of Kalamazoo, formerly of Vicksburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the age of 63. He was born on May 16, 1962 in Pontiac, MI. He was the youngest son of Dennis and Yvonne Boyle.
Kevin was born the ninth child of Yvonne (Engel) and Dennis Boyle in May 1962 in Pontiac Michigan. In the summer of 1965, the family relocated to Vicksburg MI. Kevin and his brothers enjoyed the small town life, being able to walk or ride bicycles anywhere of consequence to a child: the beach at Sunset Lake, the local grocery store, the hardware store, the Tastee-Freeze, the "falls", or the gravel pits just west of town. Kevin attended elementary school at the "Old El" just two blocks east of the family home on Michigan Ave; Until Sunset Elementary was built near the west of town. At the time, Simpson Paper Mill was still operational and there was a bridge across Portage Creek at the west end of Maple Street, and this provided a shortcut to school (and to the "falls"). Kevin was a very bright person, but didnt see much future in scholastics. After graduating from Vicksburg High School Kevin married and moved to Hawaii for a few years until his divorce. He then joined the Army and served a term in East Germany. After leaving the Army, Kevin moved back to Kalamazoo and soon married again. He and his wife Regina had two children: Leah and Connor. The family eventually moved to the west side of Vicksburg, to a neighborhood that didn't exist when he was growing up in Vicksburg. After his marriage ended, life was not so kind to Kevin. He would move around trying to make ends meet. He eventually was able to settle down in NE Kalamazoo, where he was able to work at the Meijer store just down the road.
The Kalamazoo Gospel had helped out Kevin through his later years, we very much appreciate all that they have done for Kevin and the community. If you feel inclined to donate to this organization, you can do so through this link. Give.kzoogospel.org
