Kevin Perkins

Kevin L. Perkins of Vicksburg, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the age of 45. Kevin was born on December 8, 1975 in Kalamazoo, MI. He was the son of Gaylord Perkins and Sarah (Bailey) Perkins-VerMeulen. On October 10, 2004 he married the love of his life Sara Martin. Everything Kevin did was for his family and they were the center of his universe. He was a talented mechanic and could fix just about anything. His hard work and work ethic was incomparable. Kevin will be remembered by his family as being family oriented, incredibly supportive and a strong dad. Kevin is survived by his wife of 16 years, Sara Meagon Perkins; four children: Baylee Perkins, Amber Perkins, Erin Perkins, and Kevin James Perkins.; his parents: Sarah Ann (Bailey) Perkins-VerMeulen and Gaylord Steven Perkins; and his siblings. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 7pm at the McCowen & Secord Funeral Home, 409 South Main Street, Vicksburg, MI. The funeral will be held on Friday at 11am with Ken Hovenkamp officiating, at the funeral home.
