After my father got a job in Michigan, our family moved to Michigan, my younger brother Doug (then about 10) played with Laura -- she was pushing about 4. After I started college, my parent's trips (with Doug and I) to Kalamazoo largely stopped. Laura's father Doyle was my Uncle Bob Deerwester's younger brother. Our parent's kept in touch with Doyle & Ruth and from them, Laura and her daughter's and their children. I'm sorry to hear about her loss, she was too young to be checking out at this time.
