Linda McCallum

Linda Lou (Riley) McCallum, loving and devoted wife of Dale Greenwood McCallum, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Heritage Community of Kalamazoo at the age of 73. She was the first-born child of the late Allan and Eula Riley in Alpena, MI. Linda worked many years as an x-ray technician and supervisor at Bronson Vicksburg Hospital. After leaving the hospital she became a medical billing specialist and supported her husband in his accounting practice in Vicksburg, MI. Linda was a generous, caring, faithful woman who always considered how she could be of service to those around her. Her tender heart, sweet smile and twinkling eyes will be missed by all who knew her. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Eula Riley and Allan Riley; her son, Dale Allan McCallum; and her sister Carol Ann Riley. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-three years, Dale G. McCallum, her daughter Dawn McCallum, and her siblings Frank Riley, Mary Osbeck, Grace Rivera and Cathy Riley, all of whom gave her so much happiness. She also left behind many other family members and friends. While the hole in our lives will be felt indefinitely, we take comfort in her reuniting with those who predeceased her, singing songs of praise to our Lord. While at Linda's webpage at www.mccowensecord.com please take time to sign her guestbook by lighting a candle and/or sharing a memory with her family. The family is being assisted by McCowen & Secord Family Funeral Homes, Rupert – Durham Chapel, 409 S. Main, Vicksburg, MI 49097. (269)649-1697.

Dale, I am so sad that Linda has passed. I remember her from the days you and she worked out of you house or that small office you had at one time. She was always upbeat and I enjoyed our discussions (especially as I was always late in getting my taxes done and she recognized my voice.) Never got a lecture on my tardiness!! I wish you and the family comfort and prayers.
