Linda Pierman, 75, of Galesburg passed away Saturday, May 30 at Rose Arbor Hospice surrounded by family.

Linda was born July 17, 1950 in Kalamazoo to Robert and Carolyn Feltch of Galesburg. She attended Galesburg Augusta Schools. On January 20, 1967 she married Mike Pierman. Together they raised their two children Michael (Mick) and Jamie. In 1972 she was diagnosed with MS and fought a lifelong battle against it!! She was a stay at home mom and housewife due to the MS. Despite the physical limitations she was able to raise her children and maintain a wonderful homelife.

Her journey with MS led her to the Ho Medical Acupuncture Clinic in Florida where she would stay in what become her favorite place in the world on Treasure Island. There she met many locals and people from all over the land and she became known as "Michigan Linda" a friend to all.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father and her sister Lynne. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Mike. Son Michael (Mick) and Vickie Pierman, Daughter Jamie Gibson and Robb Kula. Grandchildren Seth Gibson, Trey Gibson, Cadence Kula, Kristy and Jerry Towery, Tone and Nickie Pierman and Ally and Chad Judy. Great Grandchildren Payton, Madison and Ellie Pierman, Josie, Isabelle and Brady Towery. Special friends Maggie Vestal, Debbie Mosher, Debbie Smith, Lynnie Whipple. There will be no service but a Celebration of Life at the VFW in Augusta on June 20th from 12:00-4:00. Bring a dish to pass if able.
