Linden G. Edwards, 94, of Vicksburg, Michigan passed away in October 2026, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in January 1932 in Colley, Virginia and was the son of Linden and Jetti (Hackney) Edwards. Linden is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lois Jane (Turner) Edwards. They were married in October 1956.

Linden proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1956 until 1960 serving four years active duty followed by four years of reserve duty.

Being certified in Auto Body Repair and Welding led him from Mt. Gilead, Ohio to General Motors in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1967 where he worked as the equipment heavy maintenance welder until he retired in 1995. He enjoyed golfing, gardening and coaching his daughters in softball.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Pamela (Jeff) Foy of Climax, Michigan and Jennifer (Chantal) Edwards-Leveille of Vicksburg Michigan; five grandchildren, Tonya (Andy) Taylor of Scotts, Michigan, Lyndie Wall (Brian Tassell) of Vicksburg, Michigan, Conor (Jennavey) Schaub of Charolette, North Carolina, Brendan (Danielle) Foy of Vicksburg, Michigan, Alyssa (James) Green of Vicksburg, Michigan; five great-grandchildren, Gracie Taylor of Scotts, Michigan, Eric Bugg of Vicksburg, Michigan, Isla and Oliver Schaub and Jaxon, Jayne and Joleigh Green; one great-great-granddaughter Raeleigh Rose Hoekstra; and two sisters, Gloria Hay of Jackson, Kentucky and Lola (Bill Barrett of Trussville, Alabama.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Theora Karns; his great-grandson, Wyatt Linden Tayler; and four brothers, Wilson, Nelson, Vance and Johnny Edwards.
