Lois A. Minnis

Lois A. Minnis, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at the age of 79. Lois was born on February 17, 1943. She was the daughter of Fred and Lois (Pansch) Borgens. Lois was a sweet soul and was someone that everyone enjoyed spending time with. Many people were blessed by her gift to quilt, and she loved to garden and playing Yahtzee. Lois enjoyed cooking when she was younger, but more recently she enjoyed going out to dinner. Above all else, Lois was a wonderful mother, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her.

Lois is survived by her children: Willard Herbert Minnis, of Fulton; LouAnn (Forester) Prater, of Fulton; LeAnn Prater, of Sherwood and Lori Grinage, of Colon; six grandchildren: Sara Bradford, of Battle Creek; Brian (Sheila) Dodson, of Schoolcraft; TJ (Samantha) Latta, of IN; Amanda Hart, of Addison; Brady Hallock, of Battle Creek and Heather Prater, of Sherwood; 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother: Steve (Pauline) Borgens, of CA; sister Sue Dale, of Oshtemo; brother-in-law Norman (Lois) Minnis, of Fulton and as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard; parents; grandson Matthew.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7pm at the Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home and Cremation Society, 409 S. Main, Vicksburg, MI. The funeral will be on Friday at 11 am at the funeral home with a burial at South Fulton Cemetery.
