Lois Ester Walters

Lois Esther Walters died peacefully on March 25, 2026, at Hawthorne Landing in Kalamazoo, MI. She was the wife of, Norbert Wdowicki and Richard Walters both of whom proceeded in death. She was born on August 30, 1931, to Elmer O and Germain (Jimmy) Geschwendt.

Also proceeded in death was her sister Betty and (Bob) Gowan of Sarasota, Fl; son in law Paul (Butch) Johnson of Plainwell; brother-in-Law Dwain (Butch) Deback of Englewood FL. and sister-in-Law Kathy Geschwendt.

She was the beloved mother of her 4 surviving children: Mary (Mike) Keast of Plainwell, April Markley of Kalamazoo, Barb and Kevan Peet of Mattawan and Gary and Julie Wdowicki of Kalamazoo. She also leaves behind her sister Wanda DeBack of Port Charlotte Fl.; brother Thayne Geschwendt of Lakeland FL.; 8 grandchildren, Several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as many Nieces and Nephews.

Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express a big thank you to Hawthorne Landing staff and Centrica Hospice (Matt) for the wonderful care that she received.
