Luane Valerie Czochara

Luane Czochara of Vicksburg, MI passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at the age of 67. She was born on February 10, 1955, in Chicago,IL the daughter of Lukas and Laverne (Sporar) Lulich.

Luane loved.

She loved her music.  Her two sons would often wake on weekend mornings to the sound of Luane’s voice, singing along to her favorite tunes by Celine Dion, Cher, and Michael Bolton.  One of her happiest moments was when her husband, Ron, took her to Chicago to see Celine live in concert.  That love for music would be proudly reflected in the lives of her boys, as both would learn the guitar and bass, eventually forming their own band in Detroit.

Luane loved to laugh.  While the average sitcom or comedic film rarely tickled her funny bone, anything with cute talking animals would send her into laughing fits.  She spent many holidays at the kitchen table, playing cards, talking, and reminiscing with her sisters, bringing themselves to tears over hours and hours of laughter.

Luane loved her family.  She loved her husband and appreciated the great small-town life his hard work provided.  She loved her sons, for whom she would do anything, and in whom she instilled the value of being there, whenever and wherever, to support loved ones when they needed you most.

Luane especially loved her grandchildren:  her Daisy Girl and her Jack Jack.  Every holiday and special occasion saw Luane sending the kids gift packages filled with candy, toys, and little heart-felt mementos she collected for them throughout the months.  Time with the grandkids was spent sharing stories and heading off to the arcade, where grandma’s purse seemed magically bottomless, always ready with another dollar for game tokens and treats.

Luane Czochara was a great woman who loved and was loved by so many. Those fortunate to have known her, to have shared time with her, to have sang and laughed with her consider themselves blessed, and though we are pained with a collective sense of loss, we take solace in knowing she is at peace.

Left to cherish her loving memory is her husband Ronald Czochara; children: Christopher (Susanne) Czochara and Nathan Czochara; and grandchildren: Daisy Czochara and Jackson Czochara.
