Lucille Ruth (McNally) Dooley, of Kalamazoo passed on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the age of 107. She was born on September 23, 1919, in Kalamazoo, MI. She was the daughter of Thomas and Lucy (Wilson) McNally.

Lucille graduated from St. Augustine High School before heading to Nazareth College to receive her bachelor’s degree. She then went to the University of Michigan to receive her Master’s and her teacher’s certification.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clyde; four children: Kathleen Dooley; Larry Dooley, Ron Dooley; and Kevin Dooley.

She is survived by her two children: Mike (Trudie) Dooley, of Delton; and Tim (Michelle) Dooley, of Kalamazoo; six grandchildren: Dee Mendoes, Kylee Dooley, Sophia Dooley, and Nikki Hatfield; Amanda Dooley, and Kathrine Dooley; nine great grandchildren: Brandon, Tyler, Morgan, Devon, Dominic, Chase, Brayden, Terri’aun, and Neveah; three great great grandchildren: Bailey, Enzo, and Leland. Also survived by daughters-in-law: Sue Dooley, of Kalamazoo and Patti Dooley, of Kalamazoo, and Pat Dooley, of CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. Burial of her ashes will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
