MaryLynn Knapp, age 90, passed away on January 30, 2026. MaryLynn was born in Kalamazoo on April 25, 1935, to Leo and Jean Miller. She attended Kalamazoo Central High School, where she met the love of her life, Don, and later graduated from Vicksburg High School.

MaryLynn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald “Don” Knapp, to whom she was married for 65 years; her sister Carol Kott as well as her brother Pete Miller and brother in law Jim Swope. 

She is survived by her two daughters: Linda (Tim) Clysdale and Lori (Austin) Terry; her grandchildren: Ryan (Trish) Terry, Chad (Jessy) Terry, Kayla (Joe) Pearcy, Patrick (Melissa) Clysdale; and her eight great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Madelyn, Levi, Luke, Claire, Jack, Bobbi, and Mack.

MaryLynn also leaves behind her sisters: Sue Hunt and Kris Swope; her brother: John Miller and brother in law: Bob Knapp; their spouses; and many nieces and nephews.

She worked in the office at Centerpoint Church, for many years where Don and MaryLynn were members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Centerpoint Church Senior Ministry. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service is being planned.
