I became friends with Morey in early 70s, we took an adult Ed body shop class, plus we worked together at General Telephone. He wa a very good person. He was opinionated and could dig his heels in and be stubborn. After he went to the road commission I didnt see him very often, when we did it was right back to usual. We really had a good friendship. I hope that he and Janice have reunited. Rest in piece my friend .David L. Bradford

Morry was our next door neighbor the past seven years in Three Rivers. We so enjoyed everything about him, his storytelling, his worldview, his humor, his woodworking and his helping hands in the neighborhood. Gene and I feel so lucky to have known him. Rest in peace, Morry, we'll see you again one day.

We remember (Butch) Maurice as a simple man, who loved his family dearly, he was extremely proud of all their accomplishments. He gave of himself to all including strangers, if he had it and they needed it he gave. He made a great friend of Marie, they were good for and to each other. .Very creative in his drawings and wood working, A amazing man. We will miss our rides to Cory lake for cinnamon rolls and our talks on the phone and on the back porch. He will be missed. Im very sure the spirit in the sky has welcomed him with open arms.
